History
Established since 1998, The Garage Door & Gate Automation Company was born when founding partners Steven Bell and Simon Hill-Anderson identified a need for a true garage doors and gate specialist on the Isle of Man. Stuart Graham joined the management team, and the business moved to the Iconic Nook building on the Quarterbridge. In 2005, Gail Crookes replaced Steven Bell, and the business moved to our current home, the IOM Business Park. In 2009, we doubled our premises size to include a fabrication shop, allowing us to offer bespoke gates, handrails, railings and much more.
Our team
We are members of the Door and Hardware Federation, a UK body upholding standards in the door and gate industry. We are also members of the Automatic Door Suppliers Association, uphold standing & safety for automatic entrance doors. With a workforce that has a combined experience of well over 150 years in the industry, superb customer service and a "Can Do" ethos - our customers know they can trust us. With 14 members of staff, and 11 GPS tracked vehicles on the road, we are here to service our customers 365 days a year, when you need us most. We provide a free, no-obligation survey, we can advise on suitable products, plus give fully inclusive fixed priced quotations. We'll even take the old garage door away when we've done the job.
